Donelson is named in honor of John Donelson, co-founder and father-in-law of Andrew Jackson, the seventh President of the United States. In the 1880s Donelson was a station on the Tennessee and Pacific Railroad. It began its modern development shortly after World War II, and its location next to the airport led to much of its later growth. It was also the site of an early example of what would later be called a shopping center or “strip mall”, Donelson Plaza.

The whole complicated experience was made easy by Parthenon Plumbing. In an old house in which all sorts of additional plumbing fixtures have been added over the years at various times, something was bound to go wrong. It did. And Parthenon Plumbing was there. Every call is promptly answered with a positive attitude. And scheduling is prompt- sometimes same day, and never more than next day. The technicians are prompt, communicate clearly give an honest evaluation of problem and solution. I can't say enough good things about the service we experienced.
The guys at Parthenon Plumbing are great. Always professional and show up when they have told me they will be at the house. They installed a new water line to the house and worked into the night to make sure it was in properly. Anytime I have issues with plumbing they are on top of it. Very happy with the work and responsiveness.
