More About Madison TN
Madison was once home to the “Hillbilly Day” festival. This festival was created as a fundraiser to benefit schools within the area. This fundraising festival included costumes, school events, and a parade. Madison’s first “Hillbilly Day” was in 1952.
Madison is also home to Amqui train station that was built by the L & N Railroad and serviced by the company until 1979. After L & N Railroad vacated the station, country music legend Johnny Cash purchased it and moved it from Madison to his home in the nearby county. The station was later returned to Madison after the passing of Cash and his wife June Carter Cash. Today it houses a museum and visitor center for the town.
Today, Madison is home to attractions such as the Public Library – Madison Branch.

I was looking for a second opinion and a better vendor than what I was currently dealing with for HVAC repair. AC not working in July! The whole complicated experience was made easy by Parthenon Plumbing. In an old house in which all sorts of additional plumbing fixtures have been added over the years at various times, something was bound to go wrong. It did. And Parthenon Plumbing was there. Every call is promptly answered with a positive attitude. And scheduling is prompt- sometimes same day, and never more than next day. The technicians are prompt, communicate clearly give an honest evaluation of problem and solution. I can't say enough good things about the service we experienced.
The guys at Parthenon Plumbing are great. Always professional and show up when they have told me they will be at the house. They installed a new water line to the house and worked into the night to make sure it was in properly. Anytime I have issues with plumbing they are on top of it. Very happy with the work and responsiveness.
